Lubricants and hydraulic fluids play a crucial role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and longevity of industrial equipment. They serve as a protective medium against friction, act as coolants, and function as power transmitters. However, without proper contamination control, both lubricants and hydraulic fluids can become a source of damage that accelerates component wear, triggers corrosion, disrupts control systems, and reduces operational efficiency. Dust particles, water, or metal shavings that enter the system can damage protective layers, reduce viscosity, and increase the risk of sudden failures that lead to downtime and high repair costs.

Recognizing these high risks, contamination control for lubricants and hydraulic fluids is a strategic measure that must be prioritized. Through this seminar, we aim to enhance participants’ understanding of best practices for maintaining fluid cleanliness, from effective filtration techniques and proper filling procedures to quality monitoring methods. With the right implementation, industry players can extend equipment lifespan, keep hydraulic and lubrication systems performing optimally, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure smooth and sustainable production processes.

On July 29, 2025, PT. Artha Permai Kencana held the Reliable Lubrication Technology Seminar at Fairfield Hotel Surabaya. The event was attended by 83 participants from 35 companies and joined by Bp.Yulianto Santoso (Senior Sales Engineer-PT.Schaeffler Solutions Indonesia), Bp.Syah Reza (Presiden Director-PT.Exxon Mobil Lubricant Indonesia), Bp.Sigit Wagito (General Manager – Commercial Lubricants Regional Sales Java), Bp.Mahendra Lubis (Engineering Service Manager-PT.Exxon Mobil Lubricant Indonesia), Bp.Uki Kurnianto(Business Development Manager-PT.Exxon Mobil Lubricant Indonesia) dan Bp.Pungky Anggara Kurniawan (Territory Manager-PT.Exxon Mobil Lubricant Indonesia).

During the seminar, we provided education on the advantages of synthetic lubricants and the proper methods to help you determine the right grease for your machine’s needs, as well as how to optimize lubrication in your systems and equipment. We also delivered education about MachineXT and the benefits of using MachineXT to help address lubrication problems in machinery.
